The train accident in chennai occured in the early morning around 5:00 AM when a freight train carrying 45 tankers of high-speed diesel from Ennore in Chennai to Wallajahbad was passing through the Egattur area, located near Tiruvallur. Suddenly, one of the crude oil tankers caught fire, rapidly intensifying into a dangerous situation due to the flammable nature of the cargo.
